Smith River Future in Question

Proposed mining operations near Sheep Creek, a major tributary to the Smith River, is a hot topic.  As Tintina Resources moves forward with its application for a mining permit north of White Sulphur Springs, many recreationists and Smith River lovers are worried about the impacts a copper mine could have on water quality and other public uses.
